Kareena Kapoor's Maximalist Ode To Brown In Ladakhi textile shirt, fringe skirt

Kareena Kapoor Khan always serves! And this time is no different, as the actor dons a maximalist outfit that is an amalgamation of prints that somehow just flow together. Not one to miss hitting the mark on several accounts, she also highlights the colour of the season in this new look.

InStyle termed it the ‘it’ colour of fall 2025, while Vogue included it in its colour trends for the season. Even The New York Times has begrudgingly got on board with this hue. What is it you may ask? It’s the colour brown. Last year, Pantone declared ‘mocha mousse’ the colour of 2025, which left many scratching their heads, but over the course of 2025, love for shades of this colour has definitely caught on.

So it is obvious that Kareena, one of the ‘IT Girls’

of Bollywood, would also embrace it.

The 45-year-old shared a carousel of photos where she showed off her outfit for the Spectacular Saudi event that took place in Mumbai. Styled by Divyak D’Souza, she wore a silk shirt from Namza’s collection titled Chu Tso Ri. The brand embraces ethical and slow fashion as it finds its roots in Ladakhi art, craft, and textiles. The various flowers and vines on the shirt “tell the story of water, rivers, and mountains.” The long-sleeved, button-down shirt in earthy tones of warm orange, green and muted gold has foliage prints and small motifs. The cuffs appear in a contrasting stripe pattern in rust and yellow colours.

Kareena paired it with the Amrita skirt from the brand re_ceremonial. It is crafted in a handwoven herringbone weave with recycled cotton and zari. It features hand-beaded glass fringe along the hem. The skirt is plant-dyed with myrobalan to offer the kohl hue.

The actor, who will soon be seen in The Kardashian-style docu-series titled Dining with the Kapoors, accessorised with some high-end items like leopard-print Christian Louboutin heels and a ₹750,000 Rolex Datejust watch with a diamond-set bezel and a two-tone metal Jubilee-style bracelet.

She wore her hair in a slicked-back bun that somehow added grace to this print-on-print maximalist look instead of making it look severe. She kept the jewellery to a minimum with a metallic dangling earring and her wedding ring, which features a massive diamond.

Kareena Kapoor’s mom moment with Jeh 

Amongst all the images, the highlight was the last slide, where the actor Kareena can be seen tapping into her mom side. She can be seen sharing a tender moment with her youngest son, Jehangir Ali Khan, also called Jeh, whom she shares with her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. In the caption, Kareena mentioned, “Last pic with my baby who just came back from school and had to give me a hug.”
