picture with Ayushmann on her Instagram story, captioning it as “Delhi here we come” #Thamma. In the picture-perfect moment, both were seen in traditional attire and smiling at the camera.
Rashmika was seen wearing a pink kurti, and Ayushmann was seen in a white kurta with sunglasses and a big smile. Rashmika and Ayushmann will be seen in the upcoming horror comedy Thama. The duo visited Delhi for the promotion of their upcoming movie. It will be interesting for fans to see their chemistry in the upcoming movie.
About Thama
Thama is a Romantic Comedy horror movie directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film is the 5th instalment in the Maddock Horror comedy universe. Along with Rashmika and Ayushmann, the film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal. The movie basically revolves around World of Vampires and is billed as a ” Bloody love story.”
The movie is in the last stage of its promotions and is ready to hit theatres on Diwali this year, i.e, 21 October. It will be the first release of Ayushmann on Diwali, and the actor seems very excited about that.
Thama Trailer Launch
The Thama official teaser was launched on August 19, 2025. The teaser starts by portraying Ayushman and Rashmika as lovers and showing that they are destined to be together, showing a perfect love story. But the arrival of Nawazuddin Siddiqui changes the plot of the story, adding thrill and suspense to keep the viewers fully focused on the story.
Ayushmann Khurrana portrays Alok, who is termed “Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed”, the last hope of humanity. Despite the makers concealing most of his character details, Alok is anticipated to signify empathy in a world filled with upheaval.
Rashmika will be seen playing Tadaka, who is said to be “Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran”, the very first ray of light. The character of her is a source of light in the middle of a love and chaos-torn world.
Rashmika Mandanna talked about her experience during the shooting of Thama, which was one of her most challenging projects. In an interview with The Nog Magazine, she mentioned, “Oh my God! Thama! We really had to hustle hard for this film. I was convinced that I had seen all kinds of shoots after doing 24–25 films. But Thama made me realise that I was not prepared for it. I am convinced that this film will change people’s perception of me.”
