Guests at a hotel in Rajasthan had a terrifying experience when they spotted a 5-foot-long venomous cobra inside the toilet. The incident happened on the second floor of the hotel in the pilgrimage town of Pushkar, Ajmer. In a chilling video from the hotel, the cobra can be seen hissing from inside the commode. The hotel’s management immediately alerted the Rajasthan Cobra Team about the incident.
In the video, a woman could be heard saying, “Now we’ll think carefully before sitting here.” A man replied, “Absolutely.” Another person added, “I’m not sitting here at all.” They were also heard wondering, “How did this cobra even reach the second floor?”

Snake Safely Rescued
Officials said the rescue was challenging, as the snake had taken a defensive stance inside the tight space. After a successful operation, the team successfully released the cobra in a nearby forest.
Similar Incidents In The Past
A similar incident happened last week when a venomous snake entered the PG hostel for resident doctors on the premises of MBS and JK Lone Hospital in the Nayapura area of Kota city. The hotel’s doctors were horrified to see the poisonous black cobra slithering through the toilet into a bathroom.
They rushed out of their rooms in panic as the snake moved inside. Reports stated that the cobra entered the commode via the toilet pipe and then made its way into a hostel room.
Earlier in 2024, a five-foot-long cobra was found inside a toilet bowl in Bengaluru’s JP Nagar, following heavy rains in the area. The reptile was rescued and later released into the forest.
