Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi came up with an astounding 97 runs off just 27 deliveries in the IPL 2026 game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday at Mullanpur.
The teenagers’ whirlwind caught eyeballs yet again as the legendary Sachin Tendulkar took note of the youngsters’ fiery knock.

Sooryavanshi went after the bowlers from the very start, racing to a half-century in just 16 deliveries before continuing his assault.
His blistering knock powered RR to 80 runs in the first six overs and beyond the 100-run mark as early as the eighth over. Sooryavanshi’s innings featured 12 towering sixes and five fours as he tore into SRH.
The opener shared a 125-run partnership before Sooryavanshi, just 3 short of a century, was dismissed by Praful Hinge. Shivang Kumar then sent Jaiswal back for a run-a-ball 29, bringing Dhurv Jurel and Riyan Parag to the crease. The pair added 55 runs for the third wicket, with Jurel reaching his half-century off 20 balls before Hinge struck again.
