Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De 2 Holds Steady, Earns Rs 44 Crore In 5 Days At Box Office

De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office Collection: Day 5

De De Pyaar De 2 has maintained a steady pace at the box office over its first five days. The film opened at Rs 8.75 crore on Friday. It collected Rs 12.25 crore on its second day and reached its highest single-day collection on Sunday at Rs 13.75 crore. As expected, Monday saw a notable dip with earnings of Rs 4.25 crore, but the film regained momentum on Tuesday, bringing in around Rs 5 crore, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. This brings the film’s five-day total to approximately Rs 44 crore.

De De Pyaar De 2: Cast, Crew And Storyline

The sequel picks up right after Ashish and Ayesha’s story from the first film. This time, Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn), a 52-year-old London-based NRI, once again finds himself entangled in the challenges of an age-gap relationship. But instead of convincing his own family, he now has to win the hearts of his young girlfriend Ayesha Khurana’s (Rakul Preet Singh) father, Rajji (played by R. Madhavan).

Rajji, who is almost Ashish’s age and fiercely protective of his daughter, becomes the biggest hurdle in their love story. The situation turns even more chaotic with the arrival of Meezaan Jafri’s character, a young man closer to Ayesha’s age, someone her parents encouraged in hopes of steering her away from Ashish. The film also stars Ishita Dutta and Jaaved Jaaferi in key roles.
