Spider-Man: Brand New Day Box Office Day 2
Notably, this is Tom Holland’s fourth solo outing as Spider-Man. In the Indian box office, the film earned Rs 60 crore on its opening day, hence creating history as the best ever by a Hollywood film. Interestingly, this superhero film even broke the previous best record held by Marvel’s tentpole Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
On Friday, Spider-Man added Rs 49 crore net to its collection taking the total to Rs 109 crore in India alone. The film’s two-day total has already surpassed the opening collections of several major Indian releases. About The Superhero Film
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Produced by Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the fourth MCU Spider-Man film, following Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day picks up the narrative 4 years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). The official synopsis outlines a new phase in Peter Parker’s journey, stating: “It’s a brand new day for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves—a powerful villain no one can even see.”

Spider-Man Review
CNN-News18 Showsha gave the film 3.5 stars and wrote in its review, “The beautiful part is that Brand New Day doesn’t pitch Spider-Man against the backdrop of a world crisis or multiversal danger. Rather, it tells the story of a young man who has lost everything in the process of saving the same world. A perfect follow-up to an event film like Spider-Man: No Way Home, but also a nod to the current MCU timeline and the new Avengers. No, this may not be the greatest Spider-Man film ever made. But it is undoubtedly one of the franchise’s most heartfelt entries. If you are someone who loves superhero films, it is only fair to enjoy this one on the big screen with your 3D glasses on.”
