Khushi Kapoor Pays Emotional Tribute To Sridevi With Unseen Mother’s Day Childhood Photos | See Here

Khushi Kapoor marked Mother’s Day with an emotional tribute to her late mother and legendary actress Sridevi. The Loveyapa actress took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday and shared a black-and-white collage featuring some of her fondest memories with her mother.

The collage included a childhood picture in which a young Khushi is seen wrapping her arms around Sridevi. Another photo featured baby Khushi with the Mr India actress. The final frame showed a more recent picture of Sridevi and Khushi posing together for the camera.

Sridevi’s Family

Sridevi married producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. Before marrying Sridevi, Boney was married to Mona Kapoor, with whom he has two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor.

welcomed two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Both Janhvi and Khushi are now part of the film industry.

Sridevi passed away in 2018 at the age of 54 in Dubai due to accidental drowning. Her sudden demise had left the film industry and fans across the country in shock.

Boney Kapoor Often Shares Memories Of Sridevi

Like Khushi, Boney Kapoor also often revisits cherished moments with Sridevi and their daughters. In April, the filmmaker shared a throwback photograph from a family trip to Los Angeles, when Janhvi was just one year old.

In the picture, Sridevi was seen smiling as she held little Janhvi in her arms, while Boney stood behind them. Sharing the memory, he wrote, “In L A. My love holding our love janu , who was just 1 year old.”

Khushi Kapoor’s Work Front

On the professional front, Khushi Kapoor is reportedly working on the sequel to Sridevi’s 2017 film Mom. The project is expected to feature Khushi alongside Scoop actress Karishma Tanna, marking their first on-screen collaboration.

Directed by Girish Kohli, the film is being produced by Boney Kapoor.
