Parashakti
Directed by Sudha Kongara, Parashakti stars Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa Murali and Sreela in lead roles. Based on true events, the film revolves around the Anti-Hindi Imposition agitations in Tamil Nadu that happened in 1965. The film was released in theatres on January 10 and has been receiving positive reviews for its powerful storyline and compelling performance.
Ikkis
Ikkis is a biographical war drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal portrayed by Agastya Nanda, and is set against the backdrop of the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. It also depicts the events that happen when Brigadier ML Khetarpal (played by Dharmendra) visits Pakistan 30 years later. A must-watch for Hindi cinema fans, Ikkis holds special significance as it marks legendary actor Dharmendra’s final film appearance.
Laalo Krishna Sada Sahaayate
Directed by Ankit Sakhiya, Laalo Krishna Sada Sahaayate is a Gujarati language devotional drama film. The film stars Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, Karan Joshi, Mishty Kadecha and others.
