For the greatest ambassador of the sport, cricket isn’t just a game played on grass. It’s definitely an emotion that can be unleashed absolutely anywhere, even at 35,000 feet. Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar recently posted a mind-boggling video of himself playing cricket inside the cabin of a plane. Accompanied by his daughter, Sara Tendulkar, the Master Blaster showed that no matter how high you fly, the love for the bat never fades.
Sharing the viral clip on X, Sachin penned a line that immediately became a trending caption: “Altitude jo bhi ho, attitude change nahi hona chahiye. 😄”
In the short video, Sachin is seen comfortably taking a stance in the aisle of what seems to be a private jet. At one point, he sends a shot directly at Sara Tendulkar
who catches in and breaks out into a celebration, laughing as she dismisses her legendary father mid-flight.
Fans Have A Laugh
The sight of the Master Blaster batting in the sky started a lighthearted banter on the timeline. One user wrote, “Haters be like : ” sara ne catch chhoda hai , she doesn’t want to get him out, sare ke sare mile hue hai””
Another asked the cricketer to request a replay of the catch: “Sir take drs this is not out 😅”
Another brought in Ravi Shastri’s iconic commentary into play: “Ravi Shastri be like – Take the pitch out of the equation! SRT – Brother, I took terrestrial cricket out of the equation.” 🛫🏏😂”
While the vast majority of the internet basked in the wholesome family content, a few users couldn’t help but think about the sheer physics of a cricket ball bouncing around a pressurised airplane cabin. A few humorously wondered what India’s aviation watchdog, the DGCA, would think of the high-altitude match. “Without attitude change, what are the possibilities of the window getting hit by the ball? @DGCAIndia will not say its flight risk as it’s an MP playing in an aircraft at cruising altitude.”

On the other end of the spectrum, the sheer sight of Sachin holding a bat brought older cricket purists back to the defining moments of his early international career, proving why his legacy remains completely untouched. “Sir, saw your ‘attitude’ first time when you were just 16. After nose was broken (Sialkot test), blood was dropping from your nose after being hit by Waqar, the shots you played after that, more importantly saved India from loss. Forever your fan!”
Another user added: “You are the greatest ambassador of cricket. Your dedication towards cricket is larger than your life. Thank you Sachin for being yourself as always”
