Akshaye Khanna is set to make his Telugu debut with Prasanth Varma’s Mahakali, adding another powerful chapter to the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. Fresh buzz suggests that the actor may already be in talks for another big project. The details have not been shared much.
According to 123 Telugu, the actor is going to play an important role in Adhira. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by RKD Studios, the film features Kalyan Dasari in the lead and is currently in production. However, no official confirmation is awaited.

The director had earlier revealed Khanna’s striking first-look poster, which also marked the actor’s return to social media. The actor looked completely immersed in the character, which shows the range of his versatility . His dark and commanding transformation has already taken over the internet. And fans can expect another groundbreaking performance from the actor. The caption of the post reads: “In the shadows of gods, rose the brightest flame of rebellion,” followed by fire emoji. The director added, “Presenting The Enigmatic Akshaye Khanna as the eternal ‘Asuraguru SHUKRACHARYA’ from Mahakali.” Film critic Taran Adarsh has also shared that Akshaye Khanna has joined Prasanth Varma’s next project, Mahakali, which marks the actor’s debut in Telugu cinema.
