May 16 (PTI) A Kuala Lumpur-Hyderabad AirAsia flight received a bomb threat, which was later declared a hoax following security checks.
Police on Saturday said the customer service department of GMR Rajiv Gandhi International (RGI) Airport here received the threat via email on Friday.
The email claimed that a suicide bomber was on board the flight.
Security checks were conducted after the flight landed, and it was later confirmed to be a hoax, police added. PTI SJR SSK
