Shehnaaz Gill’s latest Punjabi film, Ikk Kudi, officially hit theatres on October 31 and has already been receiving rave reviews from fans. The film delves into themes of love, marriage, and self-discovery.
Following the overwhelming response, Shehnaaz Gill took to social media to express her gratitude to her fans for their support.
“Feeling so blessed for all the love and support for ikk kudi. I am so happy because of you all,” Shehnaaz wrote. The clip, accompanied by her heartfelt note, was filmed inside her car and showed Shehnaaz all dressed up for an event. The actress also recently made a surprise visit to a packed theatre to meet fans watching her film.

Shehnaaz Gill Surprises Fans
In the video, Shehnaaz Gill mentioned that her show was fully booked. She entered the theatre wearing a hoodie cap and revealed her identity once inside. The actress then interacted with the audience, asking them if they enjoyed watching the film.
The audience was taken by surprise by her unexpected visit. Later, Shehnaaz was seen posing for selfies with fans outside the theatre. Alongside the video, she wrote, “I already told you I can visit the theatres anytime to surprise you all. And today… I’m here to surprise everyone watching my film!”

Ikk Kudi: Plot And Cast
In Ikk Kudi, Shehnaaz Gill portrays a young woman engaged in an arranged marriage who begins to suspect that her fiance is hiding an important secret from his past. Determined to uncover the truth, she embarks on a journey that takes several unexpected turns, keeping viewers engaged throughout the film. Alongside Shehnaaz, the Punjabi film features an ensemble cast including Udaybir Sandhu, Gurjazz, Juss, Nirmal Rishi, Gurinder Makna, Gurdial Paras, Sukhi Chahal, Harby Sangha, Neha Dayal, Balwinder Bullet, Nikita Grover and Jass Dhillon.
Apart from playing the lead, the film carries great personal significance for Shehnaaz because it marks her debut as a film producer.
Shehnaaz will next appear in Balwinder Singh Janjua’s Sab First Class, which also stars Varun Sharma. The film is expected to be a situational comedy with a direct-to-digital release. More information regarding the film is yet to be revealed.
