Sanju Samson entered his name in the history books on Friday, April 23, by becoming the first Chennai Super Kings batter to score 100 in an IPL match against Mumbai Indians. The 31-year-old wicketkeeper-batter from Kerala played an unbeaten knock of 101 runs from 54 balls for the Chennai-based franchise in the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. During his stay at the crease, Samson hammered 10 fours and 6 sixes.
