Taylor Swift shared some insights into her relationship with Travis Kelce, which began in 2023. In a newly released clip from the upcoming six-part docuseries The End of an Era, the pop star reflected on her two-year-long romance with the NFL star, which they had kept out of the public eye until now. She made a rare comment about her fiance, calling him “the greatest surprise of my life.”
In the clip shared by a fan account on X (formerly Twitter), Taylorsaid, “The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had… started with a man saying he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him.” She seemingly referenced the comments that the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end made on the New Heights podcast episode that aired in August and also featured her. In the episode,
he had spoken about how he tried to woo Taylor after he failed to pass her a friendship bracelet with his number on it.
Taylor Swift Compares Both Their Professions
Further in the teaser, the 35-year-old singer drew a humorous comparison between their professions. “We both entertain people,” she said, adding, “His [performances have] with considerably more violence than mine.” The footage also showed the now-engaged couple sharing an affectionate hug backstage before an Eras Tour show. They were also seen practising the choreography for his appearance at one of the shows.
On a phone call, Travis said, “You’ve got teammates, I’ve got teammates”, prompting Taylor to add, “You’ve got Coach Reid, I’ve got my mom!” This made both of them break out in good laughter.

When Are Taylor Swift’s Docuseries And Film On Eras Tour Releasing?
In October, Taylor announced two major projects on her superhit Eras Tour. First, the six-part docuseries, titled The End of an Era, will explore the development and behind-the-scenes journey of the tour. The first two episodes will premiere on December 12, with the rest premiering in the following weeks. Between March 2023 and December 2024, Taylor’s Eras Tour spanned 149 shows across five continents and grossed over $2 billion, making it the highest-grossing concert tour ever. The show, which ran for over three and a half hours, included songs from nearly all her studio albums.
On December 12, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, a live concert film documenting the tour’s final stop on December 8, 2024, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, will also be released. The film will feature performances from her album The Tortured Poets Department, which was not released in her first concert film for the Eras Tour.
