Shanaya Kapoor Reveals Her Ex-Boyfriend Cheated On Her, Spoke To 5 Women: 'My Friend Ananya Was Like...'

Shanaya Kapoor has revealed that her former boyfriend cheated on her by talking to five other women as if he were single. The actress recently appeared on Relationshit Advice and revealed how she caught him cheating on her while they were on vacation in a foreign country. She also revealed Ananya Panday’s reaction and how she offered to help the Tu Yaa Main actress.

When asked about the scariest thing that has happened to her in a relationship, Shanaya Kapoor said, “I was out of the country, and I was with this guy. I was thinking, ‘This is it. It’s too good to be true. What a life, wow. This is the best relationship.’ We were going out for dinner, and he was going to shower. He was like, ‘Why don’t you book the Uber?'”

She continued, “I was like,

‘Dude, my phone’s dead. Can I just book it from your phone?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah.’ In the moment, he’s just like, ‘Yeah, use my phone. Book the Uber.’ Shit didn’t go down well then. I unlocked his phone… I see this ping. Obviously, I know his ex-girlfriend’s name, so I’m like, ‘This is not good.'”

Shanaya recalled, “Obviously, I opened the chat. Then, it was not good. I thought one girl was fine. It was like, ‘How’s the weather? Oh, you’re in my town, we should catch up.’ The second girl popped up, the third girl, the fourth, the fifth. There were five girls he was messaging, and I was like, ‘This cannot be happening.'”

“In the moment, I went on my phone, I opened Snapchat and Snapchatted all my girls the fucking screenshots. I was like, ‘This is exactly what’s happening to me, what do I do?’ My friend, Ananya (Panday) was like, ‘Catch a train and just come here.’ We were pretty close by… I was like, ‘I can’t just catch a fucking train, what do I do?’ This whole dinner, I’m pretending like everything’s okay,” the actress said.

Shanaya Kapoor said that she pretended that everything was alright for three days. She felt stuck since she was on a foreign vacation with the man and not in the comfort of her own city and home. Eventually, her ex-boyfriend caught on and, in an attempt to pacify her, he bought her expensive earrings.

“He just gave it to me. I took the bag, and I was like, ‘Fuck off. Are these guilty earrings?’ I went mental, but I still have the earrings. I still wear them… I’ve earned those earrings. Those are my earrings,” she said. Shanaya revealed that in his defence, the man asked her, “What’s the big deal? This is just messaging; it was nothing physical.” Shanaya clarified to him that it was emotional cheating.
