A new clip from The Great Indian Kapil Show has gone viral on X, bringing together veteran comedian Sunil Pal and comedian Samay Raina after their recent public exchange. The 30-second video, from the show’s World Laughter Day special, shows Kapil Sharma trying to turn their reported friction into full-blown comic material.
In the clip, Kapil is seen asking Sunil Pal, “Sunil bhai, aapne abhi inko(Samay Raina) maaf kar diya ki nahi kar diya, kyuki ye aapse bada pyaar karta hai genuinely.”
Sunil Pal responds with folded hands and says, “Main toh request karta hu. Main kisi ko kuch nahi kehta.”
Sunil Pal Takes A Jibe At Samay Raina
Before the moment can move forward, Archana Puran Singh jumps in and asks, “But I want to ask Sunil aisa kya kia Samay
ne?”
Sunil Pal then appears to take a coy dig at Samay’s style of comedy and says, “Main ye kehta hu ki adab ki mehfil ho, pyaar karo Ghalib ko, aur inki mehfil ho toh sirf gaali bako.”
Just watched the ep and it's hilarious. One of the best kapil sharma ever had 🔥😂

The remark leaves the audience in splits, but Samay is quick with a comeback of his own.
Reacting to Sunil’s comment, Samay says, “Jaha tak baat gaaliyon ki hai, maine jo bhi gaaliyan seekhi hai, woh maine Sunil Paaji ke video se hi seekhi hai.”
Kapil then responds, “Par inhone tog kabhi gaali nahi baki.”
Samay immediately adds, “Nahi ye nahi, inke video PE comments se seekhi maine.”
The exchange drew loud laughter from the audience and has now become a talking point online, with fans sharing the clip widely.
The Backstory Behind Sunil Pal And Samay Raina’s Exchange
The light-hearted moment on The Great Indian Kapil Show comes after Sunil Pal and Samay Raina were involved in a public back-and-forth. Sunil had earlier criticised Samay’s popular and controversial show India’s Got Latent, advising him to learn “clean comedy” from Kapil Sharma.
Samay had responded sharply, reportedly calling Sunil “frustrated” and saying he lacked “mental peace.” Their exchange quickly became a subject of online chatter, memes and fan debates.
Kapil Sharma now appears to have brought both comedians together on his Netflix show, turning their off-screen tension into a roast-filled moment of humour.
