CBSE has announced the exam dates for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti recruitment exam for teaching and non-teaching positions. The board has announced several corrections
in the notification 01/2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 14,967 vacancies across both organisations. The application process will be open till December 4. Eligible candidates can apply online via the official websites at navodaya.gov.in and kvsangathan.nic.in.

KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: Exam Schedule Released
The Tier-1 examination will be held on January 10th and 11th, 2026. “The information regarding examination centre, city of examination allotted to candidates, schedule of examination and detailed admit card for Tier – 1 will be made available in candidates’ application login at appropriate time. The candidates are advised to visit websites of CBSE, KVS & NVS for further updates,” states the official notice.
KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process includes a two-tier examination followed by an interview for positions such as Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer, and Junior Translator. The merit list will allocate 85 percent weightage to Tier 2 marks and 15 per cent to the interview, which carries 100 marks.
For Stenographer Grade I and II and Junior Secretariat Assistant positions, the selection process includes a skill test along with the Tier 2 exam. The merit list will be based on Tier 2 scores for candidates who pass the skill test. There will be no interview or skill test for Assistant Section Officer and Senior Secretariat Assistant positions.
