The International Cricket Council (ICC) has opened ticket sales for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, offering entry-level prices at unprecedented lows to boost accessibility for fans. Sales begin at 18:45
IST, with tickets starting at just ₹100 in India and LKR 1000 in Sri Lanka.
The milestone 10th edition of the tournament—co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka—will run from 7 February to 8 March across eight venues. The action kicks off with Pakistan facing the Netherlands in Colombo, followed by West Indies vs Bangladesh in Kolkata, and a marquee India vs USA clash in Mumbai.
To ensure wider participation, the ICC has significantly reduced initial ticket prices and released over two million tickets in Phase I. With 20 teams battling in 55 matches, fans can look forward to a packed schedule of high-intensity group-stage contests.
“Phase I of ticket sales is an important milestone in our journey towards delivering the most accessible and global ICC event ever staged. Our vision for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is clear: every fan, regardless of background, geography, or financial means, should have the chance to experience world-class marquee cricket in-stadia.
“With tickets starting from just ₹100 and LKR1000, we are putting affordability at the centre of our strategy. This is about opening the gates wide and inviting millions to be part of a global celebration of cricket, not as spectators from afar, but as active participants in the energy, emotion and magic that only a stadium can offer,” ICC CEO, Mr Sanjog Gupta, said.
