Premier League side Aston Villa romped to a win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in the English top-flight encounter between the sides to solidify their standing at third place as an Ollie Watkins double gave Unai Emery’s men a 2-1 win on the road.\
Watkins revealed Emery’s tactical brilliance as the Frenchman opted to make some amends to his side after having analyzed Chelsea’s setup in the first forty-five minutes, which yielded dividends.

“Unai Emery is a tactical genius, and I want to say that,” the striker said.
“He changed our system because Chelsea were playing man-to-man, but they had an extra centre-back when we went long,” he added.
“So when I came on in the second half, he brought Jadon Sancho and Morgan Rogers out wide and moved Youri Tielemans into the No.10 role. That gave us an extra player in that area. He’s a tactical genius,” the Englishman explained.
Aston Villa continue to soar, holding onto third place after their victory over Chelsea, while Liverpool climbed to fourth with a 2-1 win against Wolves at Anfield.
“I feel like the teams are starting to worry about us,” Watkins said at the post-game interview.
