Foreign Tourist Breaks Into Dance After Trying Golgappa For The First Time: ‘She Went Into Joe Mode’

Golgappa, long cherished as one of India’s favourite street foods, has now begun to win the hearts and taste buds of foreigners as well. A viral video shows a foreign tourist trying the crunchy, tangy and spicy snack for the first time.

The video takes place at a festive gathering, possibly a wedding, where a variety of Indian street foods are displayed, and guests are enjoying the snacks. Among them is a foreign tourist, dressed in a blue saree and accessorised with sparkling earrings and a maang tika, curious to try the popular snack.

The clip shows her holding a plate of golgappas, looking unsure of what they are. She asks the person filming nearby, “What is this?” He explains that it’s called golgappa, but she doesn’t understand at first and asks again.

Finally, she takes her first bite, and her reaction is priceless. She seemingly slips into a Food Coma and says, “It tastes really good”.
