New Delhi, May 13 (PTI) Bharti Airtel on Wednesday reported a 33.5 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 7,325 crore for the January-March quarter of FY26.
The company’s consolidated profit, attributed to the owners of the parent, was Rs 11,021.8 crore in the year-ago period.
The revenue from operations for India’s second-largest telecom company surged 15.6 per cent to Rs 55,383.2 crore in Q4 FY26 from Rs 47,876.2 crore a year ago.
Sequentially, its profit and revenue rose 10.4 per cent and 2.5 per cent, respectively.
Airtel’s India revenue grew 7.7 per cent to Rs 39,566 crore on a year-on-year basis.
The company’s India mobile revenue recorded an 8.3 per cent rise, led by higher realisations and an expanding customer base.
Bharti Airtel
recorded an ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) of Rs 257 during the quarter compared to Rs 245 a year ago.
For the full FY26, Airtel’s profit dropped 20.4 per cent to Rs 26,695 crore from Rs 33,556 crore in FY25.
Its FY26 revenue rose 21.9 per cent to Rs 2,10,972.8 crore.
“We ended FY26 on a strong note, demonstrating the power of our diversified portfolio. FY26 was an important year in our journey – we crossed the 650 million customer mark, launched our telco-grade sovereign cloud, received RBI approval through our subsidiary to commence the lending business, and accelerated the expansion of our data centre footprint,” Executive Vice Chairman Gopal Vittal said.
