New Delhi, Jun 11 (PTI) Wicket-keeper Bhavika Ahire will lead India Women’s squad against Sri Lanka in the upcoming Under-19 limited overs series at home.
The BCCI’s Women’s Selection Committee picked the squads on Thursday for the series, comprising three T20 matches and as many One-Day games.
The three T20 matches will be played in Chennai starting June 22, while Puducherry will host the ODIs from June 30. The series will conclude on July 6.
Mumbai opener Ira Jadhav is also a part of both the squads. Jadhav came into prominence last year, becoming the first Indian to score a triple hundred in U19 cricket.
She made a 346 against Meghalaya in the U19 Women’s One-Day Trophy in Alur, Bengaluru, in January last year.
