A source close to the production of King said, “It’s nice to see how supportive Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are to each other. While Deepika has been busy shooting for King in South Africa, Ranveer, even after ground-breaking success and putting together Pralay, is spending

time with his little Dua. While Dua’s mommy is filming, he’s taking care of her.”

The insider also added, “He’s being present and hands-on. Dua has been his lucky charm with 3 Ds (Deepika, Dua, Dhurandhar) changing his life. There are still a few days of shoot left, but after delivering Dhurandhar, Ranveer has chosen to be away from the spotlight, which is surprising.”

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her second child with Ranveer Singh, has decided to work through her pregnancy. She is currently in South Africa shooting for King with Shah Rukh Khan. In the clip, Deepika Padukone is seen in a white dress, while Shah Rukh Khan appears in a striped shirt paired with black trousers. As for Ranveer Singh’s Pralay, the film will be set in a post-apocalyptic Mumbai, and it will reportedly use AI-driven visuals to depict a crumbling, decayed version of the city. The project will be directed by Jai Mehta, son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta, marking his theatrical directorial debut. The film is being co-produced by Hansal Mehta and Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment.
