Tanmay subsequently appeared on contestant lists published ahead of the September 6 premiere, with both NDTV and The Indian Express identifying ScoutOP among the names associated with the new season.

With his entry into Bigg Boss 20, Tanmay is stepping outside the gaming ecosystem through which he became famous. It also gives viewers unfamiliar with esports an introduction to one of the personalities who emerged during the rapid growth of competitive mobile gaming in India.
