Bengaluru Students’ College Fight Goes Viral, Netizens Compare Brawl To Aavesham

A street fight broke out between students of a private college in Avalahalli, near KR Puram, Bengaluru, reportedly over Onam celebrations. Videos circulating on social media show groups of students pushing and shoving each other on a busy street as bystanders watch.

The clip, which surfaced on Reddit this week, is believed to be from an earlier date. Authorities have urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information.

The video quickly drew mixed reactions online after surfacing on Reddit. Many users expressed shock over the intensity of the street fight, questioning how a campus celebration spiralled into violence.

Some criticised the students for disrupting public order during Onam festivities, while others called it an overblown

incident, pointing out that no major injuries were reported. A section of viewers also urged caution in sharing the clip, noting that it was an old video being recirculated and could lead to misinformation if taken out of context.
