Kaushambi (UP), May 13 (PTI) Two people were killed and four others injured after a speeding car lost control and rammed into a divider on National Highway-19 in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district, police said on Wednesday.
The accident took place around 12.30 am near Kamasin village.
According to police, six occupants of the car were returning to their native village Nabipur in Fatehpur district after attending a wedding ceremony when the vehicle went out of control and hit the divider.
The injured were identified as Amar Singh (36), Rahul Patel (32), Arvind, Anil, Pradeep and Rajkumar.
Police shifted the injured to the district hospital in Kaushambi.
Circle Officer Sirathu Satyendra Tiwari said Amar Singh and Rahul Patel succumbed to injuries during
treatment.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination after completion of legal formalities, police added. PTI COR KIS DV DV
