Khaby Lame, one of the world’s most followed social media creators, signed an all-stock deal valued at $975 million with Rich Sparkle Holdings, authorizing the use of his personal brand, likeness and behavioral
data to build an artificial-intelligence-powered digital twin.
Under the agreement, Rich Sparkle will be allowed to replicate Khaby Lame’s facial features, voice patterns, mannerisms and behavioral models, enabling the creation of multilingual content and virtual appearances powered by a synthetic version of the influencer. The company said it expects the partnership to generate more than $4 billion in annual sales once fully operational.
The $975 million valuation makes this one of the largest personal brand licensing deals in the influencer economy to date, signaling how AI technology is fundamentally reshaping the relationship between creators, platforms and their audiences.
Who Is Khaby Lame?
Khaby Lame, 24, began posting videos on TikTok in 2020 after being laid off from his factory job in Italy during the pandemic. His rise was swift and unconventional: short, silent reaction videos in which he wordlessly mocked overly complicated life hacks, punctuating them with a signature open-palmed gesture and a deadpan expression.
The simplicity of the format, combined with its universal humor, allowed his content to transcend language barriers. Within months, his videos were circulating globally. Today, he has more than 350 million followers across social media platforms, making him one of the most recognizable digital personalities in the world.
What It Means To License A Voice, Face And Behavior To AI?
As part of the agreement, Khaby Lame authorized Rich Sparkle to use his likeness and personal data to create what the company describes as a “digital twin”- a virtual replica capable of mimicking his expressions, voice, timing and on-screen behavior. The technology will allow the company to produce localized content in multiple languages, automate brand partnerships and even host virtual livestreams featuring Khaby Lame’s digital doppelganger. In effect, the AI version of Khaby Lame could appear simultaneously across markets, platforms and time zones.
