Actor Awards 2026 Nominations: One Battle After Another And Sinners Lead Film Race - Complete List

The 2026 Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, announced their nominations on Wednesday, highlighting the year’s top performances in film and television.

On the motion picture side, the marquee Ensemble category features heavyweights from Netflix’s Frankenstein, Focus Features’ Hamnet, A24’s Marty Supreme, and Warner Bros’ dual contenders One Battle After Another and Sinners. These films have dominated awards-season chatter and now compete for top honors at the Actor Awards.

Film Race: One Battle After Another and Sinners Dominate

In the Best Actor category, Timothée Chalamet returns for his role in Marty Supreme, following last year’s win for portraying Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. He faces strong competition from Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon),

Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia).

The Best Actress contenders include Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Chase Infinity (One Battle After Another), and Emma Stone (Bugonia).

Warner Bros’ One Battle After Another leads all films with seven nominations, while Sinners follows with five, giving the studio 13 total nominations. Focus Features collected six noms, and A24 earned four. Last year’s Ensemble winner, Conclave, went on to receive eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.

TV Spotlight: Apple TV’s The Studio Tops Nominations

On the television front, Apple TV’s The Studio, the reigning Emmy comedy champion, leads with five nominations, including a coveted Ensemble nod. Other TV Ensemble nominees include ABC’s Abbott Elementary, Hulu’s The Bear, HBO Max’s Hacks, and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.

In the Drama Ensemble category, the field features Netflix’s The Diplomat, Paramount+’s Landman, HBO Max’s The Pitt (last year’s Emmy winner), Apple TV’s Severance, and HBO’s The White Lotus. Last year, Shōgun dominated the category, setting a high bar for the current contenders.
