The man who brought Crystal Palace’s eternal dream of major silverware to reality, will walk!
Oliver Glasner, who led the Eagles to their maiden trophy in 119 years with their historic FA Cup triumph over
Man City last year, confirmed on Friday that he would leave Crystal Palace at the end of the ongoing season.
The 51-year-old Austrian did not pen an extension on his contract and will seek a new challenge following the conslusion of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
“Great people are working for this club. From my experience everyone wants the best for Palace. Everyone is aligned and giving their best,” Glasner said.
“I know that this club is in great hands where everybody wants the best for Palace and yes this is football,” he added.
“Not just today, we sometimes see how the best days – FA Cup final and worst days, Macclesfield is within six months. That is what you have got to deal with in football.”
