Oil Tanker Explodes After Head-On Collision With Steel Container In Telangana’s Mahabubnagar

An oil tanker and a steel container vehicle collided head-on near Pallemoni Colony in Hanwada mandal of Telangana’s Mahabubnagar district late last night, triggering a massive fire after the tanker exploded

on impact. Huge flames engulfed the vehicles as the blaze spread rapidly across the road.

Officials said a local youth who witnessed the crash immediately alerted authorities and rushed to help. He broke the glass of the steel container vehicle and pulled out the trapped driver, saving his life moments before the fire intensified.

Police personnel from Hanwada mandal arrived at the scene along with fire tenders to bring the blaze under control. The area was cordoned off as firefighting operations continued through the night. More details are awaited.
