Delhi, Sep 17 (PTI) Gourangalal Das, currently the joint secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as India’s next envoy to the Republic of Korea, the MEA announced on Wednesday.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
“Shri Gourangalal Das (IFS: 1999), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Korea,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a brief statement.
In another statement, the MEA said Deepak Miglani, “presently our Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of South Sudan”.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly, it said. PTI KND RHL
