Kajol’s Habit Of Carrying ‘Kala Namak’ Gets A Signature Response From Shah Rukh Khan: ‘I Can Carry Gora Namak’

People often carry something to snack on in their bags, but for Kajol, it’s the Indian kitchen staple kaala namak, or black salt. The Bollywood actress shocked her fans when she revealed she cannot get

out of her house without black salt.

An interview of Kajol with Curly Tales started making rounds on social media, where she talked about this habit, explaining how she instinctively reaches for black salt while travelling.

During the clip Kajol shared, “I love to carry kaala namak. That’s one thing I always have with me.” She continued, “Sometimes I feel the salt in food is less. Kaala namak has a taste to it, a flavour that normal salt does not have. You can put it on chips; you can put it on all your favourite food.”

Kajol’s revelation was met with hilarious reactions from Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar’s reaction was enough to draw laughter. “Can I tell you all of this is sounding very strange…that you carry black salt!” Shah Rukh joked.

He further added that he carries “gora namak”, to which Kajol jokingly asked him to “Shut Up”.
