Food in New Delhi is a big reason why people fall in love with the city and one young visitor proved exactly that. A Harvard Law student, who is currently interning at the Supreme Court of India, spent
a day exploring some of the capital’s most loved and iconic food places. Instead of sticking to tourist spots, she chose to experience the city through its famous dishes. Her day began in the busy lanes of Chandni Chowk, where she enjoyed nihari and kebabs at Karim’s.
From there, she stopped for a cup of coffee at the Delhi Gymkhana Club, a place known for its old charm. To end the day on a sweet note, she headed to Nirula’s and treated herself with a classic ice cream sundae.
