Star Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Mangesh Yadav (23) was snapped up by the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Tuesday for Rs 5.2 crore at the IPL 2026 mini-auction in Abu Dhabi. He is coming
off a 12-ball 28-run knock and a two-wicket haul against Punjab in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Notably, Mangesh made his domestic debut for Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, December 14, against Jharkhand. He went for 47 runs in his four overs but dismissed Rajandeep Singh as well.
Mangesh is yet to play in any other format for Madhya Pradesh. He has three wickets from the two T20s, although he has been expensive, with an economy of 12.14. He picked 14 wickets in six matches at the Madhya Pradesh T20 league earlier this year and is a middle-order specialist.
Fresh pace, left arm variety and plenty of promise. 🔥
Mangesh Yadav brings speed, handy contributions with the bat and hunger to prove himself at the highest level! 🙌
