Actor couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda seem closer than ever to officially confirming their long-rumoured wedding. While both stars have maintained silence despite engagement reports surfacing in October 2025, Rashmika’s recent interaction with a paparazzo has sent the internet into a frenzy, with many convinced she has indirectly confirmed the big day.
The couple is reportedly set to tie the knot later this month in Udaipur, choosing an intimate yet regal setting for the ceremony. Though no formal announcement has been made so far, the latest video featuring Rashmika has only added fuel to the speculation.
Rashmika Mandanna Indirectly Confirms Wedding Date
A source close to the actors had earlier confirmed to Hindustan Times in December that Rashmika and Vijay will marry on February
26 at a heritage palace in Udaipur. According to the report, the couple also plans to host a separate reception in Hyderabad for their industry friends once they return.
The actors have chosen to stay tight-lipped about these developments, making Rashmika’s recent public appearance all the more significant. After she was spotted at the airport, a paparazzo shared a video capturing their brief interaction. In the clip, Rashmika waves to fans calling out her name and later removes her mask at the photographer’s request.
When the paparazzo congratulates her, Rashmika smiles and asks, “Deniki ra? (For what?)” He responds, “Wedding, waiting for 26th, ma’am.” Instead of denying or correcting him, Rashmika simply nods, visibly blushing.
A Relationship Fans Have Watched Grow
Rashmika and Vijay first shared screen space in Geetha Govindam (2018) and later reunited for Dear Comrade (2019). While the two never acknowledged their relationship publicly, fans began noticing striking similarities in their vacation photos and social media posts after 2020, sparking years of speculation.
When recently asked about wedding rumours by Prema, Rashmika addressed the chatter with restraint, saying, “It has been four years since these rumours began, right?” before adding, “But today, the truth is, I will speak about it when it’s supposed to be spoken about.”
On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Kingdom, which underperformed at the box office, earning ₹82 crore worldwide. He now has Ranabaali and Rowdy Janardhana in the pipeline. Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, enjoyed a successful 2025 with Chhaava, Kuberaa, Thamma, and The Girlfriend, with Sikandar receiving a lukewarm response. She next appears in Ranabaali, Cocktail 2, and Mysaa.
