They Call Him OG, the gangster drama film featuring Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles, created a storm at the box office upon its release. Helmed by Sujeeth, it has now completed its theatrical
run on a successful note, marking the South actor’s one of the highest-grossing films of his career.
After completing nearly 4 weeks in theatres, They Call Him OG will stream on the OTT giant, Netflix, starting from today, October 23.

As per sacnilk.com, the film ended its theatrical run with a whopping Rs 191.5 crore net in India, while the worldwide gross collection is reported to be around Rs 293.65 crore, making it one of Pawan Kalyan’s top-performing films.
The film was released across five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi — and quickly established itself as one of the highest-grossing South Indian films of the year.

Taking to Instagram, the streaming giant recently dropped a poster of the film to announce its digital release and wrote in the caption, “Once upon a time in Mumbai, there lived a storm. The actor, recently, during a special screening of the film, said, “I’m grateful to everyone. What a fantastic work. Any good work requires a strong team. This is entirely Sujeeth’s work. Thaman has enormous potential, which Sujeeth has tapped into.”

Set in the 1990s, the plot revolves around Satya Dada (Prakash Raj), a Mumbai port owner whose empire is threatened by the cruel Mirajkar (Tej Sapru) and his impulsive son Jimmy. When a missing explosives container causes chaos, Jimmy resorts to violence, killing indiscriminately, even Satya Dada’s younger son. The most shocking revelation is Omi Bhau (Emraan Hashmi), a violent thug who has his eyes on the container.
With the city out of control, all eyes are on Ojas Gambheera, or OG (Pawan Kalyan), a criminal boss in exile. He unwillingly returns to Mumbai, laying the framework for a storm of revenge.
