Kashish Kapoor of Bigg Boss 18 and Splitsvilla X5 fame weighed in on the latest “celebrities-getting-exposed” controversy on social media. The controversy about celebrities sending alleged uncomfortable messages to women has sparked a lot of discussion online. Recently, a Delhi fitness influencer leaked her alleged chats with actor Ajaz Khan, claiming he asked to meet her.
As the call-outs make a hue and cry in the industry, Kashish Kapoor labelled the incidents as “peak clout chasing”.
Kashish Kapoor Says Chats Leaked For ‘Two Minutes Of Fame’
Kashish Kapoor said she was not very much in favour of people leaking private chats with celebrities. “I’m sorry, but this whole expose thing at this point is nothing but peak clout chasing,” the 25-year-old
said. Kapoor argued that most of them are doing it for their “two minutes of fame” on the internet.
She found it ridiculous that after “two consenting adults” have exchanged words, one decides to “expose” the other because they happen to be “famous”.
“Expose what? An adult texted you, you replied, and then you guys were flirting or talking or whatever? What do you want to expose? That’s just peak, peak clout chasing at this point,” Kapoor said.
Kashish Kapoor Seeks Respect For ‘People’s Privacy’
Kashish Kapoor, however, also encouraged people to expose a celebrity if they have cheated on someone. “If your partner has cheated on you, then sure, by all means, go expose,” she said. Otherwise, Kapoor feels it is best to respect someone’s privacy.
“That person texted you with the hope that you’ll respect their privacy,” she said. “What is in the screenshots? Somebody approaching you? Really? You’re both consenting adults,” Kapoor added. “Stop with all that. And please respect people’s privacy,” she emphasised.
In August 2025, Kashish Kapoor made headlines after she told Filmygyan Viral that a “very famous cricketer” had approached her and asked her to “meet in person”. Kapoor said she found the matter “a little creepy”. “He thought I should be impressed because he is a cricketer, and it can be easy. But I don’t like that,” she had said.
