Bigg Boss 19 bid farewell to contestant Awez Darbar on Sunday, September 28, after he received the lowest votes from viewers. The social media star, who entered the house with his girlfriend Nagma Mirajkar, had been a popular name among fans, but struggled to make a strong mark in the show over the past few weeks. His eviction came after he was in the bottom three, along with Ashnoor Kaur and Pranit More.
Awez’s journey on the reality show was filled with ups and downs. While he formed friendships and shared special moments with fellow contestants, he also faced conflicts that drew attention on social media.
Awez Darbar evicted
Awez Darbar is a prominent content creator with a substantial social media following, boasting over 20.4 million Instagram
followers and 12.6 million YouTube subscribers. He is the son of music composer Ismail Darbar and the brother-in-law of actress Gauahar Khan, being the sibling of her husband, Zaid Darbar.
Awez entered the Bigg Boss house alongside his girlfriend Nagma Mirajkar, even proposing to her during the show. The couple had initially planned to marry in December, but postponed their wedding due to their participation in the reality series. Nagma herself was evicted from the show two weeks prior.

When Gauahar Khan advised Awez
Awez’s eviction came shortly after a visit from his sister-in-law, Gauahar Khan, who offered him a reality check on his performance in the house. “Aap ka waha par kya ho raha hain, Awez? If you don’t fight your battle, who will? Aap bilkul chup ho unn muddo pe jaha par aapko bolna chahiye. If you get lost, then you have no chance in this show,” Gauahar told him.
Awez’s journey on Bigg Boss 19
During his time in the house, Awez developed friendships with Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Abhishek Bajaj, Mridul Tiwari, and Pranit More. However, he also faced conflicts with Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik, who accused him of messaging other contestants while dating Nagma.
Salman Khan had previously urged Awez to play the game more actively, noting that his performance over recent weeks had not been strong enough to secure him a safe position in the house.
A brief exchange between Awez Darbar and Neelam Giri also became a viral moment when Awez, in his usual playful style, told her, “Chai bana aur sabko pila,” causing the other contestants to burst into laughter. The clip has now become one of the most talked-about snippets from the show.
