After the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections concludes on Tuesday evening, the attention will shift to the highly anticipated exit poll predictions.
Leading survey agencies, including Today’s
Chanakya, Axis My India, CVoter, and CSDS, will release their predictions in the evening after polling concludes, offering the first indication of who holds the edge in this tightly contested election.
What Is An Exit Poll?
An exit poll is a survey conducted by market research agencies and media organisations with voters immediately after they exit the polling booth. Unlike an opinion poll, which measures voter intent before the election, an exit poll captures actual voting behaviour, asking voters directly, “Which party or candidate did you just vote for?”
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has prohibited the dissemination of exit poll results between 7 am on November 6, 2025, and 6.30 pm on November 11, 2025. Therefore, the Bihar exit poll results will begin to be announced immediately after 6.30 pm on Tuesday, after voting concludes.

When Will Bihar Election Results 2025 Be Declared?
Counting for all 243 assembly seats will take place on November 14. Until then, exit polls will be the only available indicator of which alliance may have gained an edge.
A party or alliance will need at least 122 seats to form the next government. The high-stakes contest is between the JD(U) and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), and the RJD and the Congress-led Mahagathbandhan.
