As she looks deeper, she uncovers a chilling family secret: a generational curse originating in her grandmother’s history. Staying faithful to the franchise’s fundamental premise of death’s relentless design, the film takes a unique approach by incorporating themes of hereditary pain and familial history. With its nostalgic undertone and a thrilling new tale, Bloodlines struck a chord with both long-time followers and new audiences alike. Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor wrote the script for the film, which was directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein.
The previous film, Final Destination 5 was released in 2011. It followed Sam (Nicholas D’Agosto), who had a horrific vision while riding a bus with his coworkers to a workplace retreat. What follows is a story of terror, suspense, and the struggle for survival.
