Sure, we’re sweating through it, but June is certainly taking over from May and shaping up to be one of the busiest months for Indian dining, with global brands making their debut, beloved local names expanding into new cities, and pop-ups that celebrate regional home cooking. Whether you’re chasing the nostalgia of unlimited breadsticks, craving lakeside sushi, or hunting for the perfect summer cocktail, this month’s lineup has something for every palate.
Here’s a look at the restaurant openings, pop-ups and seasonal menus worth planning around this June.

The wait is over for fans of Italian-American comfort food. Olive Garden, the global chain with nearly 1,000 outlets worldwide, has opened its first Indian location at Worldmark Aerocity in Delhi.
The menu reads like a greatest-hits compilation: Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna Classico, Chicken Parmigiana and the shareable Tour of Italy platter all feature prominently. True to form, every entrée arrives with the brand’s signature offering—unlimited soup or salad and warm, freshly baked breadsticks.

The new space brings together everything the bakery is known for: crusty sourdoughs, flaky croissants, New York-style pizza and made-to-order sandwiches like the Halloumi & Harissa and the Pulled Pork Kimchi. The Thecha Chip Butty, for those who like heat, comes highly recommended.

The signature live sushi bar takes centre stage, showcasing both classic preparations and contemporary combinations—Bluefin Chutoro, Hamachi, Scorched Scallop Nigiri, and rolls like Crispy Edamame Avocado and Chutoro with Pickled Daikon. For co-founder and chef Nooresha, the opening carries personal significance: Hyderabad was one of the first cities she called home during her early hospitality career.

Brine, Bengaluru
Indiranagar has a new gathering spot in Brine, a 120-seater restaurant and bar built around the idea of transformation. The name itself signals the philosophy—brine preserves and deepens, drawing out flavours that would not exist otherwise. The menu leans into modern European sensibilities, with dishes like Beef Tartare, Roasted Tomato Risotto, Focaccia with Kimchi Butter, Charred Cabbage and Bone-In Lamb Belly. The space, designed by architect Animesh Nayak, unfolds through distinct environments: a copper bar, lounge corners, double-height ceilings, textured grey walls and life-sized trees that blur the line between indoors and out.
