If you’re scrolling through social media these days, you might have come across the Nana Banana trend that is making everyone go bananas literally. People are turning their ordinary selfies into mind-bending creations that look straight out of a dream. From vintage saree edits to tiny 3D figurines, the new Google Gemini Nano Banana AI is making it all possible.
While many creators are getting their perfect AI-generated photos with the right prompts, others are still figuring out what to type. But worry not, Google has recently shared eight prompts that can help anyone create unusual and eye-catching profile pics.
Eight Creative Prompts From Google
“Looking to Nano Banana your profile pic?” read the caption on a post shared by the official Instagram
page for Google Gemini. These prompts can transform your photo in fun and unexpected ways. The post also included some sample images that show the stunning results.
Prompt 1: “Turn me into a huge, graffiti mural on the side of a building.”
Prompt 2: “Create a custom tarot card with a detailed folk-art, vibrant color style, of me.” Now, only your future, you yourself
Prompt 3: “Without changing my outfit, what would I look like as a racing video game character from the 90s?”
Prompt 4: “Preserving my likeness, create a ceramic mug version of my head. Make my head the entire mug.”
Prompt 5: “Turn me into a detailed amigurumi doll sitting on a shelf.”
Prompt 6: “Turn me into a simple neon sign hanging on a wall.”
Prompt 7: “Turn me into a piece of collage art using magazine cutouts glued on a piece of construction paper and framed. Replace the background with a collage as well.”
Prompt 8: “Turn me into the cover character on a worn, paperback best seller.”

Safety Behind The Trend
The AI edits may look fun and exciting, but safety around these creations is equally important. Tech companies like Google and OpenAI have systems in place to help protect the content you share. Still, the real safety of your images depends largely on your own practices and on how others choose to use the information they can access.
In the case of Google’s Nano Banana images, every creation comes with an invisible digital watermark known as SynthIDs along with metadata tags. These act as markers that show the image has been generated with AI. As explained on aistudio.google.com, “All images created or edited with Gemini 2.5 Flash Image include an invisible SynthID digital watermark to clearly identify them as AI-generated. Build with confidence and provide transparency for your users.”
Even though there are ongoing concerns that AI-generated visuals can look highly realistic and may be misused as deepfakes, the watermark provides a safeguard.
