Actor and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her latest project with actor and Punjabi musician Diljit Dosanjh. On Wednesday, she shared on Instagram how a chance meeting resulted in a fulfilling and memorable experience.
The Samrat Prithviraj actress shared a touching message about her experience filming the music video, describing it as “one of the most spontaneous and memorable moments” of her career.
On Wednesday, Punjabi pop musician Diljit Dosanjh made a significant contribution to his musical career with the release of his latest record, AURA.
For the ‘Kufar’ music video, Dosanjh collaborated with the 2017 Miss World pageant winner. In the video, Chhillar attracts attention with a tattoo
of a spinning top that is similar to the totem in the movie ‘Inception,’ according to India Today.
‘Learned the choreography in 6 hours’
“Sometimes the most spontaneous moments turn into the most memorable ones,” Manushi wrote in the caption, alongside a carousel of images from the shooting set. The actor revealed that she had not started working out again when the chance to film the video presented itself because she had just recovered from the flu.

According to Manushi, the shoot was a fast-paced event that came together in record time. She wrote, “From learning the choreography in 6 hours to putting the costumes together in half a day, it was all such a whirlwind… and before I knew it, we were on set shooting.” The actor described the experience as exciting and fulfilling despite the physical hardship.
“But when Diljit’s song came along, everyone around me had so much confidence in me,” the former Miss World added.
‘Trust the process,’ says Manushi
The actor revealed a takeaway from the event that extended beyond the real shoot. Manushi said, “To be honest, I didn’t feel ready in any way to be in front of the camera, especially in this avatar!” She also said that her team’s support motivated her to make the move.
“It was exhausting, exciting, and completely worth it, a reminder that sometimes you just have to trust the process (and the people who believe in you) and take the leap,” Manushi concluded.
