New Delhi, May 18 (PTI) Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Monday inaugurated infrastructure projects worth around Rs 7.5 crore in the Rajouri Garden assembly constituency, including road construction, sewage and water pipeline works, and renovation of parks and a community centre.
Sirsa, who holds the industries, food and supplies, environment, forest and wildlife portfolios in the Delhi government, said the projects would improve road connectivity, sanitation and water infrastructure in the area.
According to a statement issued by the Delhi government, the works include construction of a ready-mix concrete (RMC) road, sewage and water pipeline projects, and renovation of one community centre and five public parks.
“Infrastructure works worth
around Rs 7.5 crore will create an atmosphere of cleanliness in the Rajouri Garden Assembly Constituency and further strengthen civic infrastructure,” he said. The minister also thanked Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for allocating around Rs 100 crore for development works in Rajouri Garden.
“This funding will be utilised for roads, sewage lines, water pipelines, street lighting, and several other infrastructure projects for the benefit of citizens,” Sirsa said.
He said the projects were aligned with the government’s vision of building a “Viksit Delhi” and reiterated the administration’s commitment towards strengthening urban infrastructure. PTI AHD RHL
