Saif Ali Khan Has A Private Account On Instagram, Reveals Neha Dhupia: 'He Reads The Stuff That's Written'

Many Bollywood stars stay off social media to protect their peace, but Saif Ali Khan seems to have taken a different route. He may not post, but according to Neha Dhupia, the actor still keeps an eye on the online world — including the trolling aimed at him — through a private account he never talks about.

Neha Dhupia Says Saif Reads Comments From a Private Account

In an interview with Zoom, Neha recalled a conversation with Saif that took place a few years ago while discussing the rise of online hate. She shared that the actor quietly follows what people say about him, even though he does not have a public profile.

Neha said, “5-6 years ago, during an interview on my show itself, I was talking to Saif about trolling. He said he is not on social

media, but he has a private account, and sometimes he reads the stuff that’s written. He said it is going to get so bad, there’s going to be policing to an extent where the cybercrime department people are going to find you. And it is getting there; people have been found.”

Neha on Online Abuse: ‘Ab Farak Nahi Padta’

The actress also shared her thoughts on the wider issue of trolling, especially in recent cases involving AI misuse against female actors. Neha said, “What happened with a couple of actresses recently, whether it is the wrong usage of AI and showing stuff across, it is getting there. I am happy that people are being pulled up. It makes me angry, but now I have reached a point where I am thick-skinned that ‘ab farak nahi padta hai’.”

Neha Dhupia will next star in Single Papa, releasing on Netflix on 12 December. The series also stars Kunal Kemmu, Manoj Pahwa, Prajakta Koli and Ayesha Raza.

Saif Ali Khan is currently filming Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan and co-starring Akshay Kumar. The film marks the duo’s reunion after 17 years and is expected to release in 2026.
