The extent of the ward as published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette is as follows: A line starting from the junction of Veer Abdul Hamid Marg and southern Naala of Sangam Nagar Police Chowki and running eastward along south side of said Naala upto its junction with Chandani Creek across General Arunkumar Vaidya Marg; thence southward along the westside of Chandani Creek upto its junction with Common Boundary of ‘F/North’ and ‘F/South’ wards at Kherap Creek; thence westwards along the said common boundary upto its junction with Barkat Ali Lane ; thence Northward along the eastside Barkat Ali Lane and Barkat Ali Darga Road upto its junction with Gen. Arunkumar Vaidya Marg; thence eastwards along the southside of Gen.Arunkumar Vaidya Marg upto its junction with Veer Abdul Hamid Road (Salt Pan Road); thence northwards along the eastside of Veer Abdul Hamid Road upto its junction with southern of Naala at Sangam Nagar police chowky …….the starting point. PREVIOUS BMC ELECTION RESULT
The last Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections were held on February 21, 2017, in which Shiv Sena was the single largest party with 84 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party won 82 seats. Indian National Congress secured 31 seats, Nationalist Congress Party won nine, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won seven seats. Other parties included Samajwadi Party, which won six seats; the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen won two seats and the Akhil Bhartiya Sena won a single seat. Five Independent candidates also won seats in the election.
