SBI Card To Revamp Airport Lounge Access From January 10: What Changes For Cardholders

SBI Card has announced a major revamp of its domestic airport lounge access programme that will come into effect on January 10, 2026. The company has introduced two new categories called Set A and Set B,

along with an updated list of participating lounges across key airports.

Who falls under Set A?

Set A includes premium variants such as Apollo SBI Card SELECT, BPCL SBI Card OCTANE, Club Vistara SBI Card SELECT, Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT, Paytm SBI Card SELECT and PhonePe SBI Card SELECT.

Cardholders in this group will have access to lounges at major airports in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.

What is covered in Set B?

Set B features SBI Card PRIME and its partner-bank PRIME variants. These include cards issued with Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, City Union Bank, Karnataka Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, South Indian Bank and UCO Bank. It also covers KrisFlyer SBI Card, Titan SBI Card, SBI Card PRIME and PRIME Pro.

Set B cardholders will get lounge access at a wider network of airports including Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Cochin, Goa, Indore, Jaipur, Vadodara, Srinagar and Visakhapatnam, along with the major metro lounges.

SBI Card clarified that only the products listed under Set A and Set B will have revised lounge entitlements. All other credit cards will continue with their existing benefits.

How validation Will Work

Customers will need to authenticate their SBI Credit Card at the lounge POS terminal to gain entry.
• Visa and RuPay users will be charged a non-refundable Rs 2 validation fee.
• Mastercard users will see a temporary Rs 25 hold which will not be settled.

Access will be denied if a customer has already used all complimentary visits. Any additional visit will be charged at the lounge’s standard rate. Lounge operators may also enforce a 2 to 3 hour stay limit and may charge extra for alcoholic drinks, premium meals, nap rooms or spa services.

SBI Card said the lounge programme continues to be managed by Visa, RuPay and Mastercard, and their terms and conditions will apply.
