A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms Release In India: When And Where To Watch GOT Spin-Off

Game of Thrones fans can’t wait any longer to watch the highly anticipated spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, in early 2026. HBO has finally dropped the first poster of the series and confirmed that the spin-off will premiere in January next year.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will exclusively stream on Max (formerly HBO Max) in the international markets. Indian audience need not worry, as they will also be able to stream the series on these platforms:

When and Where to Watch A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in India

As per Economic Times reports, the Indian audience will be able to stream A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on JioHotstar when the series drops in 2026. The first poster, released by the makers, carried a tagline which read, “A

tall tale that became legend.” The poster further provided a sneak peek into the show’s adventurous and light tone, offering a contrast to the darker worlds seen in Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Sharing the poster, the official Game of Thrones social media account wrote, “This winter, spring is coming. #AKnightoftheSevenKingdoms premieres in January, only on @hbomax. #NYCC”

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Plot

Based on George R. R. Martin’s novella The Hedge Knight, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms follows Ser Duncan the Tall, AKA Dunk, and his young squire, Egg. Set nearly 100 years before Game of Thrones and a century after House of the Dragon, this upcoming spin-off explores Dunk and Egg’s journey through Westeros.

The official synopsis shared by Variety reads, “A century before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”

In this highly anticipated series, Peter Claffey will be seen in the role of Dunk, while Dexter Sol Ansell will portray the role of Egg. Alongside them, the series will feature Finn Bennett, Tanzyn Crawford, Bertie Carvel, Daniel Ings and Sam Spruell in prominent roles.
