Jaipur, Jun 12 (PTI) The Jaipur District Milk Producers Cooperative Union (Jaipur Dairy) has undergone complete modernisation and renovation at a cost of Rs 133 crore, officials said on Friday.
According to an official statement, the upgraded plant equipped with advanced technology is expected to significantly strengthen the supply of milk and ghee in Jaipur and nearby districts. The inauguration of the facility is likely to take place soon.
Dairy Minister Joraram Kumawat recently inspected the renovated plant and said the project is in its final stage, and that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will inaugurate it shortly.
Kumawat said that following the upgrade, the milk processing capacity of the Jaipur Dairy plant has increased from 12 lakh litres
to 20 lakh litres per day.
He added that the milk pouch packaging capacity has also been enhanced from 10 lakh litres to 16.50 lakh litres per day.
The minister further said that modern boilers and machinery have been installed at the plant as part of the upgradation. PTI AG BAL BAL
