Debutant producer Manish Malhotra’s upcoming movie, Gustaakh Ishq, is set to charm the audience with a new on-screen pair, Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Now that the makers have released a new song from the upcoming romantic drama film, directed by Vibhu Puri, fans are already expressing their admiration for it.

On October 7, Zee Music Company released the song, Aap Is Dhoop Mein, from the upcoming movie, Gustaakh Ishq, on its official YouTube channel. Sung by Arijit Singh, the music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, while the lyrics are penned by the legendary lyricist Gulzar. The soulful notes in the music video, featuring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh’s romance, filled with the innocence of a previous generation, gave fans a moment

of nostalgia and emotion.

Set in the old charm of the nation, it takes viewers back in time to the history of Hindi cinema. Additionally, Naseeruddin Shah’s presence adds a sense of gravity to the song.

Meghdeep Bose takes the credit for being the Music Producer, while the chorus is sung by Vaishnavi Bhuyar, Surabhi Khekale, Vasudha Tiwari, Sonal Choubisa, Sushmita Narayan and Bandita Bharti.

Directed by Vibhu Puri, Gustaakh Ishq marks Manish Malhotra’s production house, A Stage5 Production’s debut project. Announcing the same, the designer posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, “Since childhood, I’ve lived with a deep Ishq for cinema. The magic of the stories, the glow of the big screen and the emotions that stay long after the credits roll. That love has shaped who I am, and today, it gives me the greatest joy to share a dream come true. This November, 2025, my first film as a producer, ‘Gustaakh Ishq – Kuch Pehle Jaisa’ will release in theatres.”

The movie, jointly produced by Manish Malhotra and Dinesh Malhotra, stars Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. The movie was initially titled Ul-Jalool Ishq, and the designer had previously announced the change by unveiling the film’s poster.
